Destinations Covered: Delhi – Leh – Alchi – Leh – Delhi

Duration : 09 Nights / 10 Days

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi by your international flight, assistance at airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: In Delhi
Full day tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Visit Qutab Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Lakshmi Narayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple, drive past President’s House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.

Day 03: Delhi – Leh
In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Leh (3500 mts). Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization. In the evening short walk around Leh bazaar.

Day 04: In Leh
Full day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous of the Ladakh region. on the way back visit to Shey Palace.

Day 05: In Leh
Morning half day visit of Spituk and visit Phyang monastery. Afternoon visit by foot to Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, Shankar Gompa and Leh bazaar.

Day 06: In Leh
Full day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 meters and has been recorded in the Guniees Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the late afternoon return back to the hotel.

Day 07: Leh – Alchi
Leave for Alchi monastery known as Alchi Choskor is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. On the way visit Bazgo Castle lie on the right bank of the Indus valley. By the lunch time you reach Alchi. Afternoon visit the Alchi monastery and explore the nature beauty of Alchi village. Overnight at the hotel/guest house.

Day 08: Alchi – Lamayuru – Leh
Leave Alchi and continue drive to Lamayuru via Khaltsi (passport checking point). From here another 22 kms drive will take us to Lamayuru. The oldest and spectacularly se Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th Century. Visit the monastery. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh which is 4/5 hours drive.

Day 09: In Leh
Morning half day visit to Stok Palace. The Palace was built by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal in 1825. On the way back visit the Choglamsar village (The Tibetan refugee Camp) which is famous for Tibetan Culture, History and Buddhism. Afternoon day for personal activities or visit to the local Ladakhi family house which can be arranged on request.

Day 10: In Leh
In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel

Day 11: Delhi – Depart
Check out at 1200 hrs. Later assistance and transfer to international airport in time to connect onward flight.
