After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple, a Major Hindu Pilgrimage site. During the festival of Ambubashi more than a million devotees throng this holy place. Return to hotel after paying homage to the mother goddess Kamakhya and drive on to famous Kaziranga National park and on arrival check in at a jungle resort. In the afternoon visit nearby Tea Estate. Day 03 : In Kaziranga
Early morning (5:30 am) explore central Range of Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. On return explore the eastern range on a jeep safari. Return for lunch and proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep.

Day 04 : Kaziranga – Shillong
After an early morning breakfast drive to Shillong. After lunch at Borapani Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills, drive to Shillong and check in at hotel. Later in the afternoon visit the local market.

Day 05: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place in the world. The beautiful waterfall-Noh-ka-likai is at Cherrapunjee you can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee. Return to Shillong, en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.

Day 06: Shillong – Guwahati
Morning sightseeing of Shillong – visit Ward Lake and Hydari Park. Admire the beauty of Shillong, also called Scotland of the East. It is erstwhile capital of undivided Assam and present Northeast and home to the Khasi highland tribes. After lunch drive back to Guwahati. In the evening take a cruise on Mighty Brahmaputra River.

Day 07: Guwahati – Depart
After breakfast day at leisure till you depart for your onward journey.

Day 03 – 09: Ayurveda Therapy
Seven days have now been set aside for the Ayurveda Therapy. The resident doctor after consultation plans your programme and will also suggest your diet and the therapy commences in right earnest. Please remember that during this period you should not exert yourself and for best result no alcohol, no tobacco and strict vegetarian diet. The therapy involves various herbal massages, steam baths and yoga. If you follow the directions of the “VAIDYA”, we can assure you that you will come out totally relaxed and a great feeling of wellness. Remember to bring some of your favourite books to catch up on all the reading you may have missed.

Day 10: In Periyar or Kumarakom or Marari Beach
The Rejuvenation Therapy is over, but it is best to relax and allow you body to re-adjust after one week of massage.

Your last day at Periyar, perhaps you could do a boat safari in lake Periyar and try to catch a wild elephant or relax at Kumarakom / Marari Beach. After lunch drive to Cochin and check-in at the hotel.

Day 6In Mysore
Morning City Tour visiting Srirangapatnam – 16 kms from Mysore, this fort was the stronghold of Tipu Sultan, son of Haider Ali. Tipu made a last minute ditch against the British in 1799 before surrendering his kingdom. Among the many fort buildings still intact, are Tipu’s airy Summer Palace and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh (garden). Here, is also the celebrated Sri Ranganatha Temple. Day 04: Periyar

Onwards proceed to Gir national park only home of Asiatic lions with many of other species of birds and wild life. Upon arrival check in at a jungle resort. Day 09: Bhavnagar – Palitana
After early breakfast drive to Palitana to visit world famous Jain temple built in the 11th AD. Later drive to Palitana and check in at hotel. Afternoon drive to Velavadar black buck national park. You will find the largest number of harieers in roosting with Indian gray wolf, Jackle, Jungle cat , Desert hare and nilgai and several species of birds.

Day 10: Palitana – Utelia
After breakfast drive to Utelia a small fortified village. Afternoon visit Lothal, an ancient archeology site dating back 2500 B.C. Later enjoy a walk in the village to experience the folk life style.

Day 11: Utelia – Ahmedabad
After breakfast drive to Ahmedabad and on arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed for the city tour to visit alico textile museum, Gandhi ashram, Hatheesingh Jain temple, Jama Masjid, market and the fascinating poles of old city with exquisitely wooden carved houses

Day 12: Ahmedabad – Modhera – Patan – Ahmedabad
Full day excursion to Modhera and Patan to see 11th AD Sun temple and one of the largest step well of Gujarat in Patan with double Ikat patola sareee weaving and mashroo fabric weaving also can be seen.

Day 13: Ahmedabad – Depart
In time transfer to airport to connect onward flight.

Day 01: Arrive Baroda – Chhota Udaipur
On arrival in Baroda airport, transfer to Chhota Udaipur. Here you will see the Rathwa tribes in and around the Region. (Just 48 kms away there’s a town called Alirajpur of Rathore Rajput rulers and from Rathore came the region RATH and from Rath the tribals are called Rathwa. Chhota Udepur was the princely state of Chauhan Rajput who ruled much of this tribal Area for many years. Around Chhota Udepur are a number of very picturesque tribal Villages of Bhils and Rathwas. It is considered one of most primitive tribal belt of Gujarat, where one can experience their life style. After an early lunch at the hotel, drive by jeep to the tribal villages like Kol,Kharakwada,Timla, Devhat etc.

Day 02: In Chhota Udaipur
After breakfast proceed to tribal museum of Chhota Udaipur and lateron drive to nearby village to visit HAAT – a mobile market where we can see many tribal people who come to buy and sell their products After lunch visit a couple of more villages of tribals to see PITHORA Wall paintings in their houses.

Day 03: Chhota Udaipur – Baroda
After breakfast drive to Baroda enroute visiting Champaner fort of Pawagadh built in 15 th century by the Sultan of Ahmedabad Mehmud Begadha. Nagina and Jami mosques are the most beautiful speciman of indo saracenic architecture. On arrival in Baroda, check in at hotel. Later visit the museums in Baroda – one of the princely state of Gujarat ruled by Maratha Gaekwad is now an important industrial city with many pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and fertilizers plants.

Day 04: Baroda – Ahmedabad
After breakfast drive to Ahmedabad enroute visiting Vaso village famous for its intricated wooden carved Havelies of 18 th Cent. On arrival, check in at hotel. After breakfast visit one of the finest textile museum of the world. Calico museum has the finest collections of various types and kinds of textiles from all over the world right from the 17 th cent.to 19 th cent. Later visit the Gandhi ashram

Day 05: Ahmedabad – Poshina – Darbargadh
After an early breakfast city tour of Ahmedabad wherein you will see the fascinating poles of Old city with beautiful wooden carved houses and one of the most colourful temple of city. Swaminarayan temple built in late 19 th century. Also visit of Jami mosque and market. After lunch drive to Darbargadh enroute visiting Poshina. On arrival in Darbargadh, check in at hotel.

Day 06: In Darbargadh
After breakfast visit of tribal villages around Poshina. It is a centre to see Garacia tribals and also Rajasthani rabaries can be seen near Ambaji. An important Hindu pilgrimage centre of mother Goddess Ambaji. After lunch, visit tribal villages located in the aravalli hills.

Day 07:Darbargadh – Patan – Modhera – Zainabad
After breakfast drive to Zainabad enroute visiting Patan and Modhera. Anhilwad Patan was the capital of Gujarat and is famous for its patola saree. It has also one of the largest stepwell of Gujarat called Rani ki vav built in early 11 AD. Later proceed to Modhera to visit Sun temple built in early 11 AD by Bhimdev Solanki the king of Gujarat. After lunch at Modhera drive to Zainabad and check in at hotel.

Day 08: In Zainabad
After breakfast take safari in little rann of Kutch to see the asiatic wild asses and around 275 various species of birds. You also have opportunity to experience Bajara tribes, the cattle breeders. After lunchdrive to the little rann of Kutch for another viewing.

Day 09: Zainabad – Bhuj
After breakfast drive to Bhuj. At present district headquarter of Kutch and transit point to make a day excursion to different craft villages towards north and south. Particularly banni villages famous for its beautiful embroideries and colourful traditional culture. Upon arrival checkin at hotel and proceed to procure the permit to visit Banni village.

Day 10: Bhuj – Banni Village –Bhuj
Full day excursion to the Banni villages. Banni villages in the kutch area are riots of colours. Bhirandiyara/Dhordo/Gorevali/Hodka/Sumrasar and Nirona are major tribes. Each Village has its own identity of craft and embroidery.

Day 11: Bhuj – Mandvi – Mundra – Bhuj
After breakfast excursion to Mandvi and Mundra to see some more varieties in embroideries and woolen crafts. One can also visit shipbuilding port of Mandvi. After lunch, have a live demonstration of tie and dye in Bhuj and later visit woolen weavers village called Bhujodi.

Day 12: Bhuj – Mumbai – Depart
Morning at leisure and later transfer to airport to connect flight to Bombay.
