Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport, assistance and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: In Delhi
Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi including Visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, drive past Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Birla Temple.

Day 03: Delhi – Bharatpur
Morning drive to Bharatpur and on arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon, go on a bird watching tour at Keoladeo Ghana Sanctuary, home to more than 250 species of indigenous and migratory birds.

Day 04: Bharatpur – Agra
Morning drive to Agra enroute visit the ruined fort city of Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Agra, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Day 05: Agra – Gwalior
After breakfast drive to Gwalior and on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Gwalior. Visit the temples and palaces within the Gwalior Fort, Scindia Museum, Gaus’s Tomb and Tansen’s Tomb.

Day 06
: Gwalior – Khajuraho
Morning take a day train to Jhansi and on arrival drive to Khajuraho enreoute sightseeing tour and lunch at Orchha. On arrival in Khajuraho, check in at hotel.

Day 07: Khajuraho – Orchha
Morning: Take a tour of the Khajuraho temples, the world famous stone sculptures especially of the Chandela Dynasty temples within the Western Group of Temples at Khajuraho. Later drive to Orchha and check in at hotel.

Day 08: Orchha – Jhansi – Bhopal
Morning drive to Jhansi and take a train to Bhopal. On arrival in Bhopal, check in at hotel. Afternoon excursion to visit the Great Stupa and other Buddhist pilgrimage sites at Sanchi.

Day 09: In Bhopal
Morning excursion to Bhimbetka Caves and Bhojpur Temple. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bhopal. Visit Taj-ul-Masjid, Fatehgarh Fort, Moti Masjid, Vidhan Sabha and Lakshmi Narayan temple.

Day 10: Bhopal – Ujjain
Morning drive to Ujjain and on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Ujjain. Visit Mahakaleshwar Mandir, Harsiddhi Mandir, Gopal Mandir, Bade Ganeshji ka Mandir and Chintaman Ganesh Mandir, Observatory, Kalidas Palace and Ram Ghat.

Day 11: Ujjain – Mandu
Morning drive to Mandu and on arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12: In Mandu
Full day sightseeing tour of Mandu. Visit Baz Bahadur Palace, Rani Roopmati Pavilion, Jama Masjid, Hoshang Tomb, Jahaz Mahal, Traveli Mahal, Hindola Maha, Champa Baodi, Jain Temples and Ashrafi Mahal.

Day 13: Mandu – Indore
Morning drive to Indore and on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Indore visiting Rajwada Palace, Lal Bagh Palace, Central Museum, Bada Ganapati Temple, Chattri Bagh and bazaars such as the popular Khajuri Bazaar.

Day 14
: Indore – Mumbai
After an early breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight to Mumbai and on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mumbai.

Day 15: Mumbai – Aurangabad
Morning excursion to Elephanta caves. Late afternoon transfer to airport to connect flight to Aurangabad and on arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 16
: In Aurangabad
Full day excursion to Ajanta caves.

Day 17: Aurangabad – Mumbai – Depart
Morning excursion to Ellora caves. Later transfer to airport to connect flight to Mumbai and on arrival, transfer to international airport to connect onward flight.

Morning tour of Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Check-out from the hotel at 1200 hrs. Afternoon tour of New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshmi Narayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre.

Day 03
: Delhi – Agra
Early Morning drive to Agra and on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon city tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience.

Day 04: Agra – Bharatpur
Morning drive to Bharatpur enroute visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Bharatpur Check in at hotel. Afternoon enjoy a 2 hr cycle rickshaw ride in the Keolodeo Ghana national park.

Day 05: Bharatpur – Jaipur
Early Morning visit the bird sanctuary. Later drive to Jaipur and check in at hotel. Rest of the day free.

Day 06
: In Jaipur
Morning tour of Amer Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja’s City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas.

Day 07: Jaipur – Ranthambore

Early Morning and late afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 09: Ranthambhore – Shivpuri
Morning drive to Shivpuri and on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit the sanctuary.

Day 10
: Shivpuri – Khajuraho
After an early breakfast drive to Khajuraho enroute stopping at Orchha for lunch and sightseeing. On arrival in Khajuraho, check in at hotel.

Day 11
: In Khajuraho
Full day tour of the temples of Khajuraho.
These world famous temples were built by the Chandelas between 950 AD & 1050 AD. The important ones are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath & Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Visit the Eastern group of Temples. Parasvanath Temple is the only exisiting Jain Temple at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum. The Javeri Temple is dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath.

Day 12: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh
After an early breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh and on arrival check in at a jungle resort. Afternon a game drive in the park. Bandhavgarh is a must see destination on a wildlife travel itinerary of India. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for having the highest density of Tigers of any National Park in India. It is also known for its population of rare White Tigers.

Day 13: In Bandhavgarh
Early Morning and afternoon game drives in the park.

Day 14
: Bandhavgarh – Kanha
After an early breakfast drive to Kanha and on arrival check in at a jungle resort. Afternoon game drive in the park. Kanha National Park is considered one of the best National Parks in Asia. This is the area in which Rutyard Kipling’s classic Jungle Book is set. Kahna provides a home to a significant number of tigers. The park is also known for successfully rescuing the Swamp Deer or Barasingha from the brink of extinction.

Day 15: In Kanha
Early Morning and afternoon game drives in the park

Day 16: Kanha – Nagpur – Mumbai
Drive to Nagpur airport in time to connect flight to Mumbai and on arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 17: In Mumbai
Morning excursion to Elephanta Caves. Afternoon city tour of Mumbai.

Day 18: Mumbai – Depart
In time transfer to airport to connect onward flight.

Day 04: Agra – Jhansi – Orchha – Khajuraho
Transfer to railway station to board train to Jhansi and on arrival assistance and drive to Khajuraho enroute visiting Orchha. On arrival in Khajuraho, check in at hotel.

Day 05: In Khajuraho
Full day visit to the Eastern, Western and Southern group of temples. Visit the Eastern group of temples that consist of the Parasvanath Temple, which is the only Jain Temple surviving at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum, The Javeri Temple dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath.

Day 06: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh
Morning drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival check-in at lodge. Afternoon a game viewing drive inside the park.

Afternoon City Tour of Gwalior, visiting the Man Mandir , Gujari Mahal (today an archaeological museum ), The Fort, Temples of Saas-Bahu, Teli Ka Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad and the Mausoleum of Tansen. Evening visit to fort for sound and light show.

Day 05: Gwalior – Jhansi
Morning: Transfer to railway station to board the train for Jhansi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon City Tour of Orchha. Orchha’s grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time and a rich legacy to the ages. For, on this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and the temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century retain much of their prestine perfection. Jahangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatries has a spectacular view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs.

Day 06: Jhansi – Bhopal
Morning: Transfer to railway station to board the train for Bhopal. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon City Tour of Bhopal. Visiting the Upper Lake, Lower Lake, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Birla Museum, Kilol Park, Kamla Park, Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil and Taj-ul-Masjid. Drive past Vidhan Sabha, Tagore Memorial and the National Archives of India.

Day 07: In Bhopal
Full Day excursion to Sanchi (58 km) which has distinction of having the finest specimens of almost all Buddhist architectural forms, Stupa, Chaitya,Temples and Monasteries dating from 3rd century BC. Visit three important Stupas with circular domes and railing around them. Also visit Ashoka Pillar, Gupta temple built in the 4th century and Great Bowl carved of one piece of stone. The museum displays number of sculptures found in the area.

Day 08: Bhopal – Indore
Morning free for independent activities. Afternoon transfer to railway station to board train to Indore and on arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 09: In Indore
Full day excursion to Ujjain, the city which traces its origin to the very dawn of Indian history and has a great tradition of learning and culture. It was used as the base for calculations of Hindu astronomy, astrology and geography. Visit the Temple of Mahakaleshwar, Observatory of masonry, Jantar Mantar, Bathing Ghats of Shipra river and the Gopal Mandir, a 19th century temple of Maratha-Style architecture.

Day 10: Indore – Delhi
Morning: Free for independent activities. Afternoon: Transfer to railway station to board overnight train to Delhi. Overnight on board train

Day 11:Arrive Delhi – Depart
Early Morning: On arrival in Delhi, transfer to a city hotel for wash and change (lobby use) and breakfast. Rest of the day free for shopping / packing. Later transfer to international airport for onward destination.
